Never played before? This is our beginner workshop designed to get you playing fast. We’ll walk you through the setup, the rules, and the "why" behind the game. By the end, you'll have a few games under your belt and will be itching to get together again to play!
The Inner Circle
Mastery, nuance, and winning
In this final level, we polish your play until it’s second nature. We’ll focus on the nuances that separate good players from great ones, like managing a "messy" hand, the etiquette of high-level play, and the confidence to make bold moves under pressure. You’ll leave this workshop not just knowing how to play, but knowing how to lead the table.
The Deep Dive
Gameplay flow, common hands, and speed
You know a Bam from a Dot, but now the real fun starts. This level is all about finding your rhythm so you aren't stuck second-guessing every move. We’ll move past the 'wait, is it my turn?' phase and focus on spotting common hands and making quicker calls. The goal is to get you to that sweet spot where your game play is flowing, you're having fun, and you're able to keep a conversation going.
Private Group Lessons
At Mahj And Company, we offer private lessons. The private lessons are hosted in our space or in a learner's home. The organizer will be responsible for finding all of the attendees.
